The Wolf B24/B27/B30 is a semi-automatic transplanter for square and pyramid-shaped cells and, and plants up to 7 cm in diameter, typically used for the planting of Capsicum, Eggplant, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Tomato, large seeds such as Pumpkin, Melons and Broad Beans, Bulbs such as Artichokes and Tubers like potatoes (with optional Kit)

The transplanter is a modular design.  Each transplanter unit is mounted on a tool bar.  The transplanter machine is configured for planting 2-8 rows by mounting the desired number of transplanter modules onto a suitably sized tool bar with the module positioned at the desired inter-row spacing.  The tool bar incorporates a driveline which is powered by ground-engaging wheels which ensure the transplanter operation is synchronised with ground travel.  The inter-plant distance is set by the selected gear setting in the driveline mechanism.

The B24/B27/B30 transplanter is suitable for transplanting in open fields as well as greenhouses and for planting on plastic film

DISTRIBUTOR

The operator is seated above each transplanter module within easy reach of the seedling trays.  The operator places seedlings into the perforated cups

• Perforating distributing system with 1-6 cups

DRIVELINE

• Ground wheels carry the weight of the machine and drive the planting operation.

• Overload safety clutch on driveline protects the entire machine and the planting mechanism if plants or cell material block the machine.
• Once the blockage has been cleared the safety clutch auto-resets to restart the operation.

• Heavy duty 22mmHex Drive Shaft across machine.

PLANTING UNIT

The gentle floating of the planter on the soil ensures accurate and consistent planting depth. The seedling is placed in a unique perforating cup that pierces soil and or plastic mulch and accurately and gently places each plant. The planting mechanism is synchronised with the ground travel to accurately maintain the pre-set inter-plant spacing.  The trailing packing wheels then press the soil around the seedling.
